How Zebras got their names

Once upon a time, there was a zebra who lived with his mom and dad. Even though he was an only child, he had a lot of friends. (Having no names like him.)

One day they were racing. Then it started thunder storming. They were 15 miles away from home. They were tired out so they couldn't go back. They knocked on a zebras door and went inside. Then  a tornado hit. The main zebra yelled zebra to get the key to the basement. None of them moved. He repeated it 4 more times. Then he took random hooves of one zebras and got the key and then yelled to get the rest down to the basement. The house owner happily gave each the friends some hot chocolate. It was a wild night.

When they woke up, they saw that nothing was ruined. Over the night, the house invented names to be safe. Zebie was the name of the "mane" zebra's name. When he got home, nothing was ruined. His greeted him"Hi Zebie!" They said they got a call. That's how zebras got names.

Hershey

This week, I went to Hershey with my family. The first day, we went to Hershey Gardens. There was a butterfly house, an herb garden, a sundial, a dead bird, and a lot of other things. As a souvenir, I got a butterfly necklace. Mommy got a matching one.

 That day, we went to Hershey story. We learned about Milton Hershey, learned about how chocolate machines work, and how it was like in his time. I didn't get a souvenir but it was still fun!

The hotel was awesome! We got there after Hershey story and got into our rooms. Then we went into the pool and went on the water slide 1,00,000 times. Then we had Wendy's for dinner and watched cable TV. Then we went to bed.

Before we went to Hershey Park, we went to the pool again and had a hot breakfast. We got there and went on the Blue Cross Train. It took us above the park, the zoo, and even Hershey's factory. Then me and Daddy went on a pirate ship. Then we went on a lot of other rides like the Wild Cat, and the wild mouse. mommy went on rides by herself too.then we went on the water stuff. We went in a spray park, a tide pool, and Rita's, and the water slides. The water slides had toilet like features in the middle of the ride. One was pitch black. That was the best part. my souvenir was a stuffed animal snake. Then we got home and watched cable TV.

The next morning, we got up and went swimming ate breakfast, and played mini golf and basketball. Then we went to chocolate world. We watched a 4-D movie about a mystery in a chocolate factory. (Duh.) Then we went on a funny tour. Then we got free chocolate covered cranberries. I forgot that we got a free chocolate bar after the movie too. Then we went to the gift shop. I got a stuffed icebreaker with body features. Then we went home. GREAT TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Boo!)     

A Book

I read a book called Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tales. It has all of his fairy tales.

It was about fairy tales he made. (Guess!) One was about a little person, one, a mermaid.(Answers on the bottom.) They were The Emperor's New Clothes, Thumbelina, The Fir Tree, The Steadfast Soldier, The Little Mermaid, The Little Match Girl. The Nightingale, The Princess and the Pea, and The Ugly Duckling.

I like its fiction. I also like his imagination. Plus you got to see stuff that aren't real!

A Great S***k Save! : A Great Fiction Story

Note: S***k is not a curse word. If I give it away, it will ruin it. Now onto the story.(WE IS ALWAYS THE FAMILY!)

Last weekend, I was in the island of Zebie in the Zebra islands. It was a hot day so we went to Zebra Land which is this awesome water park. We were in the Zebra hotels (Well we were staying in them.) so we got in our bathing suits then got our towels from the pool. Then we took a freezing shuttle there then checked in then did security then put bug repellent and sunscreen on or the other way around then jumped into the pool. I need to catch my breath. In the pool, there was a deck in the middle the middle of the pool. I went and got a fruit smoothie. We got out and then went on 20 water slides. No kidding.

So then we went surfing in the nearby beach. I think I saw a great white shark. Then we got on the boardwalk, My parents did a count of my 8 other sisters and I. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,..... it was me, Clara, Mary, Taylor, Ruby, Jane,and Carol. Lizzy and Holly were missing! We all split up. I had to look in the beach. I had my phone ready. No sight on the sand. All I found were shells and footprints. Now the water. I went deep. Lizzy and Holly.......and a great white shark! I yelled to them. "Swim!"I swam to help them.

None of us were injured. Okay, maybe Lizzy had a tooth mark. I called my family and said we were okay. We got back together on the boardwalk and had fun for the rest of the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear PIC,

My friends and I love climbing trees. If you have a rule for not climbing trees,we can't climb trees. Since you do have that rule, we are really bored. Please have a rule so we can climb trees!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It takes away kid's entertainment. It takes away practicing. You can't exercise. There's nothing to climb on. So please have a rule to climb trees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll go up safely and not go too high. One more thing about climbing trees. It helps kids get healthy and strong.

A Zebra Hero

One day a normal zebra was grazing.Then he fell fast asleep. The next day, a girl and her mom were walking by. They took a picture of the zebras. An hour later, the girl ran to the water hole to take some pictures. After she took several pictures, she turned around to get her mom. She was gone! The girl was an expert on animals. She thought about zebras. A light bulb went in her head. She could ask the normal zebra for help! The girl tamed the zebra. She asked the zebra to sense her mom. They couldn't find her mom until they got to the other side of the watering hole. "Where have you been?" Asked the girl. "I told you I was going to the other side of the watering hole." They thanked the zebra and walked home.

The next few years, the zebra saved more then 60 people. I wonder who the zebra will save next................ 

Snow

(Here's a poem Jada wrote for her writing assignment that I gave her a couple of weeks back.)

Snow

They're like white small diamonds
It freezes fingers in an instant
It rains. Then freezes.
I slip and fall. I don't mind.
It makes great fun fights.
If it snows hard you can build a snowman.
I where my warm wool sweaters and jacket.
Cloth hats, scarves, and gloves are warm to.
If you don't get snow, come visit my place.
It's nice as the gold on rings, silver on teeth.
I love snow. Yes I do.
